Members of the Competition Council PlenumThe Plenum of the Council exercises the management of the Competition Council in accordance with Law no. 183 from 11.07.2012. The Plenum of the Competition Council is a collegial decision-making body composed of 5 members, including a president and two vice-presidents, who are, respectively, the president and vice-presidents of the Competition Council. The members of the Plenum (of which 2 vice-presidents) and the President exercise positions of public dignity and are appointed by parliament's decision, at the proposal of the Speaker of the Parliament, with the opinion of the relevant parliamentary committee, for a 5-year term of office. Each member of the Plenum of the Competition Council is entitled to two consecutive mandates. The members of the Plenum of the Competition Council do not represent the authority that appoints them and are independent in making decisions.
